What to look for before you buy
- A dwell time you will actually tolerate. Anything asking for an overnight soak will sit on the shelf unused after the first try.
- Foam, not thin liquid. Grill grates are mostly vertical bars; liquid runs off and pools at the bottom before it can act on the carbon.
- Stated surface compatibility — stainless steel, cast iron, porcelain enamel — printed on the bottle, not implied.
- A refund policy measured in months rather than a 14-day window that only covers unopened bottles.
- Clear labelling on whether the product is caustic, because that decides your ventilation, gloves and how close pets or kids can be.
- A per-clean cost, not just a shelf price — a $6 bottle that needs three coats can cost more per clean than a $13 bottle that needs one.
Buying-guide checklist: what separates a good order from a bad one
| Criteria | Weak product | GreaseKiller™ |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Thin liquid, runs off vertical grates | Clinging foam, stays where it's sprayed |
| Dwell time | 20+ minutes or overnight soak | About 2 minutes |
| Fumes / ventilation | Caustic, needs a cleared kitchen | Low odour, window open is enough |
| Surface compatibility listed | Often vague or absent | Stainless, cast iron, porcelain enamel stated |
| Refund window | 14–30 days, unopened only | 90 days, used bottles fine |
| Shipping cost | $5–$9 flat fee | Free on every bundle |
Why buying direct costs less
Retail distribution adds a distributor margin, a retailer margin and shelf-space costs — typically doubling the price of a cleaning product before it reaches a shelf. Selling direct removes all three layers, which is how bundles here land between $9.90 and $19 a bottle against a $38 shelf-equivalent price for a comparable heavy-duty formula.
It also means the guarantee is attached to your order number automatically instead of depending on a paper receipt you have to keep for three months in a kitchen drawer.
Cost per clean, worked out properly
The number that actually matters is not the price on the bottle — it's the price per grill clean. A weekend griller doing one full clean a month gets 12–15 uses from a single bottle. A family that grills twice a week burns through a bottle in about six to eight weeks.
| Bundle | Price | Cleans covered (approx.) | Cost per clean |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bottle | $19 | 12–15 | $1.35–$1.58 |
| 3 bottles | $39 | 36–45 | $0.87–$1.08 |
| 5 bottles | $55 | 60–75 | $0.73–$0.92 |
| 8 bottles | $72 | 96–120 | $0.60–$0.75 |
How ordering works here
- 1
Choose a bundle
One bottle covers about one full grill clean cycle. The 5-pack is the most-ordered size for anyone who grills regularly, since the per-bottle price drops sharply.

How we tested the ordering and delivery process
We timed our own checkout end-to-end on desktop and mobile, and tracked twelve real orders shipped to Austin, Manchester, Berlin, Toronto and Melbourne between June and August 2026 to build the delivery windows below, rather than quoting a generic carrier estimate.
- Checkout completion: under 90 seconds from bundle selection to confirmation email on a saved card.
- Dispatch: same or next business day for orders placed before 3pm local warehouse time.
- Tracking accuracy: all 12 test orders had a live tracking number within 24 hours of dispatch.
- Support response: email replies from support@greasekillerspray.com averaged under one business day across the test window.

Buying for more than one grill
If you're ordering for a rental property, a restaurant patio, a food truck or a cleaning business rather than a single home grill, the 8-bottle bundle is the practical starting point at $9/bottle. For standing orders, invoiced accounts or a custom case size, email support@greasekillerspray.com and we'll set it up directly — no need to place repeat one-off orders.
